Online Lessons

Piano lessons can absolutely be taken online, and many students do. Some actually prefer it. Some things are simply done differently, but the end result is the same. There are even some advantages:

  • Learn in the comfort of your own home.
  • Save time by not traveling to and from lessons.
  • You can record the lessons if you want.
  • Less time wasted at lesson. No coats or unpacking materials. We are ready to go from the start.
  • You don't need to cancel a lesson for mild illness.
  • The student can take the lesson when parents cannot drive them to it.
  • The teacher can observe the student's practice environment, the bench and posture, and the condition of the instrument. (If your piano is in need of tuning, I also tune pianos.)

What do you need for online lessons?

  • A piano or keyboard
  • An internet connection
  • A laptop, tablet, or phone (in order of preference)
